Tough First Loss of the Season

Orduspor took on Bursa BSB earlier today in what was a heavily anticipated match of two undefeated teams in Group B of the TKB2L.

Miranda and her team came out of the gates strong, playing well in the first half of a pretty evenly matched game and went into halftime with a 5 point lead.

The third quarter was much the same, building their lead to 7 points going into the final frame.

The fourth quarter, unfortunately, was a different story as Orduspor were unable to generate much offense (scoring only 5 points the entire quarter) against a strong defensive effort from Bursa.

With a little under 3 minutes left in the game, Bursa took the lead for the first time in the match and cemented the lead in the waning minutes of the game, winning by a final score of 70-63.

Miranda played 38 minutes in the game and scored 9 points, shooting 3-10 (30%) from the floor, and 3-4 (75%) from the free throw line.  She pulled down 8 rebounds, had 2 assists and 1 block shot as well.

The team now travels home and will look to rebound against another strong team, Orman Genclik, when they host them next Sunday in Ordu.
